About Us

2Hungary is the initiative of a young Hungarian couple, whose travel experiences met their widespread contacts in Hungary within certain fields. One of them has extensive knowledge of food, wine,  and tourism experience, while the other is familiar with all the little know-hows of the hospitality industry.

We are determined to put our new ideas into practice and show you the real values and beauties of Hungary and our culture. Explore our knowledge and find the best experience in Hungary with us!

How It Works

First, take a look at the list of the amazing and unique Hungarian wine regions we organise tours to, and pick the one you would like to discover next.

Secondly, click over to our Tour Upgrades page, where you will find exciting, valuable and fun activities to complement your wine tour with (grouped by region). Add the ones you like to the basket!

And finally, if you decide to stay the night (or more nights, even) while on the tour — and believe us, it is worth it — browse our Accommodation Upgrades page, where you can find rooms and beds catering to different needs and means, also grouped by wine region.

All you have to do is add it to the basket, place the order, and one of our friendly team members will get in touch with you shortly to discuss with you all the details and itineraries of your upcoming experience. It is that simple!

Or, for any special request tailored to your needs, do not hesitate to simply contact us directly!

About Hungary

Hungary is situated in Central Europe and has an important role being in the middle between Western and Eastern Europe. It has borders with Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. Although it is landlocked, it provides ample opportunities for tourism with its lakes, rivers, and unique natural beauties — as well as a cultural heritage quite singular in Central Europe, both in its capital city, Budapest, and its countryside.

About Wine

Geographically, Hungary is situated in the southern zone of Central Europe, in the centre of the Carpathian Basin, which is surrounded by the East Alps, the Carpathians and the Dinaric Mountains. The most important natural resource in Hungary is its diversified soil, which mostly yields well and supports developed agriculture. Thanks to this, Hungary has a traditional winemaking culture mixed with a modern sensibility. With 22 wine regions growing hundreds of varietals, our country offers a multitude of great wines to explore.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Hungary!
